ASUS has introduced the ASUS P835 smartphone in India. Designed for business-savvy professionals and based on Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional, the 3.5-inch touch screen smartphone is capable of working with documents, browsing the Web, viewing pictures and even watching movies -- while on the move. The ASUS P835 also comes installed with the Opera Mobile Web browser.
With the release of the ASUS P835 in India the company is sure that the large screen and Opera Mobile will provide an unparalleled Internet browsing experience. The ASUS P835 also allows users to switch between 12-key, half-QWERTY and full-QWERTY virtual keyboard modes -- allowing them to choose an input method that best suits their current task. A tracking ball has also been included to improve scrolling. With the P835, ASUS is pitching its updated version of Glide, which is an interactive mobile user interface. The new version consists of redesigned icons/user interface and improved interactivity.
The ASUS P835 can also be configured to function as a Wi-Fi access point. It is capable of sharing its high-speed HSPA cellular data or Internet connection over Wi-Fi with up to 10 devices, such as laptops or other PDA phones.
